Latest Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) Database issue is out now. NAR Database 2011 issue features 96 new online databases covering a variety of biological data types and it also includes update on 83 data resources that have previously been published in NAR or any other peer reviewed journal. Now NAR online Database Collectioncatalogues 1330 data sources published in last 18 edition. In following figure, you can see that NAR database collection is growing exponentially (may I remind you that there are several other venues to publish database papers, most notably BMC Journals and Oxford Bioinformatics, so real number of published database sources is much larger).
